Dancescape – organ transplant recipient

At the Footloose & Fancy Feast event there was a man who had had a double lung transplant in January 2013. He and his wife of 3 weeks danced. It was a wonderful sight. Sarah made a wonderful speech about the importance of organ donation. There is an easy way to make sure you can donate your organs. First, and I think, most important, tell your family because when the time comes they need to know your wishes. Secondly, go to the website and register, www.beadonor.ca.

The more of us who donate, the more people will survive because of us. What a legacy that would be, knowing that we have helped to save a life is the best gift anyone can give.

Check out the video from the event to see Sarah and Keith.
