What better way to start, or should I say end, the Christmas season by being part of the easiest fundraiser ever. I’ve been collecting used postage stamps for a few years now and normally take them to England when I go, so my Mum can give them to a good cause. However, I just found out that Oxfam collects them for their charity here in Canada. The link is Oxfam and it raises money by selling donated used postage stamps. At this time of year we are all receiving more cards and letters so why not take a few seconds to tear off the stamps, collect them in an envelope and once it is full mail them to Oxfam in Ottawa. Why not keep an addressed envelope on your desk or table where you normally open your mail for easy access. Every little helps.
