Here I am with Barb Daize the head of the “Camisole Project”
This event on October 12th 2012 was so successful it raised enough money to buy 560 camisoles, how fantastic is that!
What a wonderful event this turned out to be! The Divas worked so hard to put all this together and they did a great job. Check their website www.divaschanginglives.com to see all the good works they do.
There were delicious martini’s to drink (and you got to keep the glass), the food was varied, hot and tasty. There were fun games to play, like Plinko, spin the wheel, guess the price of a piece of jewelry, so many different things to do, plus raffles etc. etc. etc. If anyone didn’t enjoy themselves then maybe they were pms-ing because there was no excuse for not having fun.
My friend Anita was there displaying her amazing bra quilt, she has calendars for sales so if you want one, you can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org and check out her website www.createdbymouse.ca she’s a very talented lady with a big heart.
I’m looking forward to next years’ event already.
